Weaning And Special Dietary Support

We provide a wide range of weaning foods for babies starting solids, made from fresh fruit, vegetables, and meats. All diets, including allergy-friendly options, are fully accommodated to ensure safety and nutritional balance. Our carefully planned menu introduces babies to a variety of tastes and textures, helping them develop healthy eating habits from the start. Weaning meals are tailored to each child's stage of development, and new textures are introduced gradually. Staff monitor reactions and preferences to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. For guidance on nursery routines and developmental support, see our Parent Information page.

Promoting Independence At Mealtimes

Mealtimes are a sociable time when children are encouraged to serve themselves, try new foods, and develop self-help skills. This approach builds confidence, fosters independence, and teaches table manners. Children also learn to make choices about what and how much to eat, supporting their self-awareness and decision-making. Staff offer gentle guidance while allowing children to explore food at their own pace. These skills carry over into daily routines and personal development.
