Flexible Payment Plans For Your Convenience

Fees are calculated based on each child's schedule and divided into 12 equal monthly payments, providing a predictable and manageable cost. Term-time only schedules are similarly divided across 12 months to maintain consistency throughout the year. This structure ensures parents know exactly what to budget for each month. Standing orders make payments straightforward and remove the need for last-minute arrangements. For information on meals that complement care, see our Fresh Menu page.

Early Years Grant Support For You

Families eligible for the early years grant can apply to reduce the cost of childcare. Guidance is available to help parents understand eligibility and how to access this funding. The grant can significantly offset fees for eligible children. Our team is on hand to assist with the application process and provide clarity on available support. Learn more about our Moles and Toads (24m-5y) Nursery Group for information on age-specific care and learning activities.

Accepted Payment Methods To Make Life Easier

We accept a variety of payment options, including childcare vouchers, Care2Learn, student finance, and childcare tax credits. These methods offer flexibility to accommodate different family circumstances. Parents can choose the option that suits their situation. Using recognised schemes helps ensure childcare is accessible and affordable for all families.

Transparent Fees And Additional Options

All fees are based on the child's schedule and are clearly communicated in advance. Families receive guidance on optional extras, term-time variations, and any applicable discounts or schemes. Transparency helps parents plan and avoid unexpected costs. We provide clear statements and support, ensuring that every parent understands how fees are calculated and managed.

Funded Hours Meals

Unfortunately, the average funded hours rate paid by the Local Authority is lower than our average hourly rate and as such does not cover the rising costs associated with providing those hours. The Early Years funding is intended to deliver free, high quality, flexible childcare. The government funding does not, nor is it intended to, cover the cost of meals; therefore, the Nursery is regrettably having to introduce a charge for meals on funded days.

Meals will be charged @ £10.00 a day. This includes breakfast, lunch and tea.

Parents receiving 30 hours funding effectively have 2 completely funded days a week while parents receiving 15 hours funding have 1 completely funded day a week. Therefore, during these days the meals will be charged as below

2 days x £10.00 = £20.00       £20.00 x 51 weeks / 12 months = £85.00 a month for meals

1 day x £10.00 = £10.00          £10.00 x 51 weeks / 12 months = £42.50 a month for meals

New Fee Schedule

Information for parents wishing to use ONLY funded hours with no extra paid hours

(30hrs) - If parents want to take only their funded hours without paying for any extra hours the nursery offers two options.

Option One (£85.00 a month) is illustrated in the fee schedule – 2 FULL DAYS - 07.30 to 18.00 @ £0.00 with £85 per month for meals. As 30 hours funding stretched over 51 weeks equates to 22.35 hours a week, this would mean 1.35 unused hours per week. It is against DfE rules to refund parents any unused hours.

Option Two (£127.50 a month) is to spread the 22.35 hours over 3 days. This equates to 7h30 a day which must be taken between 09.00 and 16.30. Meals provided for those 3 days a week = £127.50 a month.

(15hrs) - If parents want to take only their funded hours without paying for any extra hours the nursery offers two options.

Option One (£47.50 a month) is illustrated in the fee schedule – 1 FULL DAY - 07.30 to 18.00 @ £0.00 with £47.50 per month for meals. As 15 hours funding stretched over 51 weeks equates to 11.18 hours a week, this would mean 0.68 unused hours per week. It is against DfE rules to refund parents any unused hours.

Option Two (£85.00 a month) is to spread the 11.18 hours over 2 days. This equates to 5h35 a day which must be taken between 09.00 and 15.00. Meals provided for those 2 days a week = £85.00 a month.
